Changes to Application Process and Deadlines for GMF Capital Projects Funding
The Green Municipal Fund is introducing some changes to the application process and deadlines for capital projects for energy, transportation, waste and water initiatives.
Applicants now need to submit an Initial Review Form to ensure the project is eligible for funding. Only those that meet the eligibility criteria will receive an application and invitation to apply for funding. In addition, there are new deadlines for submitting the Initial Review Form and the application. The next deadlines are:
- Initial Review Form – March 1, 2016
- Application (by invitation) – April 15, 2016
These changes only apply to capital projects for energy, transportation, waste and water initiatives. We continue to accept applications year-round for brownfields capital projects as well as plans, studies and pilot projects.
