Applications for our 2015/2016 Awards are now open!
CWWA is happy to announce the
2015-16 Utility Excellence Awards. These Awards highlight the remarkable work our members are accomplishing in their communities. Water and wastewater utilities perform a vital service, protecting both human health and the environment, and these Awards offer peer recognition of these efforts.
We are offering awards in two areas: Community Outreach, and Risk Taking – Implementation of Innovative Technologies.
The Awards are open to all CWWA Utility and Private Sector Members who completed an eligible project.
Community Outreach Award
CWWA offers national recognition for utilities who have demonstrated excellence in community outreach or public consultation projects/goals.
- Did your utility or company excel at raising awareness of a certain project or to encourage positive consumer behaviours?
- Did your utility or company cultivate partnerships with the community residents, a public-private sector partnership or non-governmental organizations that resulted in results above and beyond expectations?
- Did your utility or company overcome significant roadblocks to achieve its outreach or public service goals?
Implementation of Innovative Technologies Award
This Award honours outstanding achievements in the deployment and successful implementation of innovative technologies in its application year.
- Did your utility or company take on projects that embrace new and advanced technology while leading the field in delivering real and tangible benefits?
- Did your company develop a new technology that has been successfully implemented on a municipal level?
- Does your utility or company have projects that support significant organizational improvements or changes that involve the use of technology to deliver innovative new services?
