Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals who have made a difference to the dam engineering profession, through their leadership, inspiration and technical contributions.
Public Safety, Security, and Emergency Management of Dams Recognition Award
Organizations, specific projects, and individuals have taken the call to lead the Dam industry in establishing public safety and security standards and guidelines, enhancing public safety and security and public safety controls, providing education and raising awareness, and staying situationally aware of changing and evolving threats and increased public safety risks. Recognize an individual, organization, or project for their contributions in any of the public safety and security related areas.
Public Safety, Security & Emergency Management Recognition Award
Excellence in Constructed Project Award
Recognizes a water resource project with significant contribution to the dam community and/or to society that met the challenges of the nation’s aging infrastructure in an era of limited financial resources and increasing environmental awareness. The award will honor the team of professionals responsible for the project.

Exceptional Young Professional of the Year
To celebrate the exceptional industry-wide contributions of YPs, this award annually recognizes an individual age 35 or under who, through both their career and community involvement, exemplify USSD’s four mission goals: Advocate Collaborate Cultivate Educate
