Abstracts are now being accepted for the 2021 conference in Charleston, SC, April 12-16. The deadline to submit abstracts is June 6 and accepted papers or expanded abstracts are due no later than October 23. 
 
Authors who submitted papers for the cancelled 2020 conference are urged to resubmit an abstract for 2021. The Technical Program Planning Committee will review abstracts for consideration in August.
  
All papers and expanded abstracts accepted for the 2020 USSD Conference and turned in as final prior to the deadline are included in this year's online proceedings.

The Tennessee Valley Authority  (TVA) is partnering with local power companies by providing $2 million in matching funds to support local initiatives that address hardships created by the COVID-19 pandemic. This funding is part of a comprehensive portfolio of assistance programs TVA is providing to support communities and customers across the Tennessee Valley.

Freese and Nichols, Inc. has added Mahsa Hedayati, PhD, PE, to its Water Resource Design team to enhance our expertise in providing geotechnical solutions for clients across Texas and the Southeast.
