Schnabel Engineering opened an office in the northern suburbs of Austin, TX; second in the Lone Star State.The Austin office is led by Jeremy Young, PE, and is a vital component of Schnabel’s strategic plan to expand dam engineering services. Young will be supported by a team of technical professionals providing dam and levee, geotechnical, tunneling, and geo-structural engineering design services.

The Cyber Essentials Toolkit is a set of modules designed to break down the CISA Cyber Essentials into bite-sized actions for IT and C-suite leadership to work toward full implementation of each Cyber Essential. Each chapter focuses on recommended actions to build cyber readiness into the six interrelated aspects of an organizational culture of cyber readiness.

As part of the USSD Leadership Series, we are excited to offer a series of communication webinars designed for engineers.
The Fall Workshop Series Subcommittee, under the leadership of Paul Eggers (GEI), is finalizing the line-up of virtual workshops. Schedules will be released shortly.
Call for Papers and Workshops has closed and the Technical Program Planning Committee currently is reviewing abstracts. Under the leadership of Conrad Ginther (Black & Veatch), the committee will meet virtually at the end of August to begin compiling the technical program.
Registration will open Oct. 1.
Will we see you in Charleston, April 12-16? After an eventful year full of twists and turns, we're looking forward to an energy-packed exhibit hall in the recently renovated North Charleston Convention Center.
Remaining booths are now available for general purchase, but don't wait long. With only a handful left, the exhibit space is sure to sell out quickly.
