The deadline to submit abstracts for the 2022 conference in San Diego has passed. Reviewers from USSD technical committees will now be reviewing and ranking the received abstracts in preparation for the program planning meeting.
 
The Technical Program Planning Committee led by Chair Joe Goldstein (Geosyntec) and Vice-Chair Ed Toms (AECOM), will meet on Aug. 25 in San Diego to assemble the program. Authors should expect to receive notification as to the acceptance or rejection of their abstract by Aug. 31.

The cyber threat from the People’s Republic of China (PRC) continues to evolve and poses a real risk to the nation’s critical infrastructure, as well as businesses and organizations of all sizes at home and around the world. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), in partnership with the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), published new advisories to help organizations assess and harden their networks against malicious Chinese state-sponsored cyber actors.
The almost $25 billion bill  provides funding to rehabilitate, retrofit or remove the nation's dams that are no longer necessary to improve the health of its rivers, improve public safety and increase clean energy production.
