Join USSD in Charleston SC, April 17-21 for the 2023 Annual Conference.
Conference Theme: Infrastructure Resilency through Risk Management The 2023 USSD Conference theme was developed based on the need for more understanding related to climate change impacts on our infrastructure through the development of risk-based prioritization methods.
Call for Abstracts closes on July 7.
The DEI Ad Hoc Committee will focus on opportunities within the industry and the USSD community concerning members of diverse identities related to race, ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation, social and economic status, age, disability, religion, and more.
The effort sprung from the highly successful Women Who Give a Dam program at last month's conference and is being developed by organizers Zara Plasencia, Amanda Adams, Merry Dang, and Melinda Dirdal.

Kleinschmidt Associates, an engineering, regulatory, and environmental consulting firm, has been selected by the Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation to provide environmental, engineering, and permitting services as part of the Interim Steelhead Rearing Facility Project at the Nation’s Rowdy Creek Hatchery in Smith River, California.
