The purpose of the PPG is to present Reclamation’s risk informed decision-making (RIDM) framework for evaluating high and significant hazard potential dams, determining the need for action, and prioritizing investigations and modifications to Reclamation dams. Reclamation first issued guidelines for RIDM in 1997.

PROVIDENCE, R.I., August 4, 2022 – GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA), a leading multi-disciplinary firm providing geotechnical, environmental, ecological, water, and construction management services, has been honored with two Engineering Excellence Awards by the American Council of Engineering Companies Rhode Island chapter (ACEC-RI) for its work supporting bridge replacement projects in Cranston and Cumberland.
GZA was recognized by ACEC-RI for its role as a geotechnical and environmental consultant to TranSystems Corp. on the design-build replacement of four bridges along Interstate 295 in Cranston and for TranSystems’ replacement of the Howard Road Bridge in Cumberland. Also honored were Green International Affiliates Inc. for its work on the Cranston I-295 project and Bryant Associates Inc. for its work on the Cumberland bridge replacement. The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) sponsored and oversaw both projects.
NEW YORK, July 22, 2022 – WSP USA, one of the world’s leading environmental, engineering and professional services firms, received a Top Product of the Year Award in the Environment Energy Leader Awards program for the firm’s Groundwater Plume Analytics® technology.
The tools were heralded by the program’s expert judges as a notable example of the exceptional work being done in the fields of environmental management.
