In late 2013, distinguished construction attorneys gathered at the request of Associated Builders and Contractors of Texas, Texas Building Branch of Associated General Contractors, and Texas Construction Association. Their mission was to determine if there was a better system for Texas mechanic's and materialman’s liens and, if possible, produce a bill that would reflect such a system. The final report of the group, which was released in March, 2016, is the focus of this webinar.
