This course will prepare an individual to be designated by their employer as a competent person in Fall Protection and Prevention. Course curriculum includes lecture, "hands-on" and application of theory to solving construction related scenarios. Discussion topics will include: Hazard Recognition (Recognition, Evaluation and Control), OSHA Regulations related to Fall Protection and Prevention, Responsibilities of a Competent Person, Inspection of Personal Fall Arrest System’s, Proper Use and Wear of PFAS and Rescue Considerations.
