The U.S. Supreme Court overturned the Chevron doctrine on Friday in Loper Bright Enterprises et. al. v. Raimondo, Secretary of Commerce, et. al., in a blow to federal agencies.

Construction Executive 2024 Mid-Year Construction Economic Update

This is an instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive. Skills covered in this course include first aid for sudden illnesses, injuries and protection from blood-borne pathogens, choking relief, and sudden cardiac arrest for adults. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety course is intended for supervisors or for workers with some safety responsibility. It provides a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards than the TEXO Safety First class. Topics include recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards found in the workplace.

This course is intended for individuals that will be performing any duties on construction projects and jobsites. The course will assist them in better understanding the importance of noticing and preventing heat stress symptoms. Upon completion of this course, participants will have: an understanding of the sign and symptoms of heat-related disorders, predisposing conditions, likely causes, prevention and first-aid, in order to provide guidance and training to employees, as well as the ability to audit compliance with the HIPP.
