On Sept. 4, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration unveiled its Severe Injury Report Dashboard, which gives users the ability to search its severe injury report database by year, industry, state, establishment name and type of injury. ABC is evaluating the dashboard to better understand its impact on construction employers. Vince Versace explains the adoption of new egress forms, the shift from "core pillar" designs and the implementation of uniform building codes to enhance building resilience. OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety course is intended for supervisors or for workers with some safety responsibility. It provides a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards than the TEXO Safety First class. Topics include recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards found in the workplace.
