Tarrant County voters Tuesday strongly supported a $800 million bond for John Peter Smith Hospital. Dubbed “Tarrant County Hospital District Proposition A” on the ballot, the bond passed with more than 82 percent of the vote. JPS will add a new behavioral and mental health hospital, four regional medical centers, an outpatient surgery center, increased bed space and expanded cancer treatment, among other improvements. Total upgrades will cost about $1.2 billion, and county officials have said they hope to not have to borrow the full $800 million.

Amazon has reportedly advanced to "late-stage talks" with three finalist cities — New York, Dallas and Crystal City in Arlington County, VA — for its planned second headquarters (HQ2), according to The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and others. The Post suggested Crystal City may be crowned the winning location, reporting that JBG Smith, a top real estate developer in the area, has "pulled some of its buildings off the leasing market" in preparation for the announcement.

Prologis Inc. and Holt Lunsford Commercial have filed plans for a three-building industrial park at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Dubbed DFW Mustang Park, the project will be located on Mustang Drive near State Highway 121, reports the Dallas Morning News. Included on the 60-acre site will be a 401,280-square-foot warehouse and 429,700-square-foot building to be constructed by an affiliate of Prologis, a logistics-focused real estate investment trust.
