Construction input prices increased 1.5% in October, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Producer Price Index data released today. Nonresidential construction input prices increased 1.4% for the month.
  
North Texas Tollway Authority officials have said that the Sam Rayburn Tollway expansion is on schedule to be completed during December. Construction of the $200 million project, adding a fourth lane, has been ongoing since January 2019.

In this roundtable, we will begin to explore reality capture technologies that are leading the AEC industry toward data-centric decision making. Our panelists will introduce several types of commercially available technology, explain the level of investment versus the information that can be captured and discuss the limitless ways that reality capture can be implemented into your practice. The course will feature a live demo of two increasingly common technologies in the office and on the jobsite: drones and robotics.

This is an instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. Skills covered in this course include first aid for sudden illnesses, injuries and protection from blood-borne pathogens; choking relief and sudden cardiac arrest for adults.  This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction safety course is intended for supervisors or for workers with some safety responsibility. It provides a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards than the TEXO Safety First class. Topics include recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards found in the workplace.
