Ninety-nine airports around the country stand to benefit from nearly $1 billion provided under the bipartisan infrastructure law for improvements to areas such as baggage systems, security checkpoints, accessibility and ground transportation, the Biden administration announced. The funding comes in addition to the $1 billion allocated last year for terminals at 85 airports.
A 200% tariff on aluminum from Russia is the latest penalty imposed on Russian products in the US response to the war in Ukraine. The increase takes effect in April and comes with a doubling of the current 35% tariff on other metals and metal products from Russia.
