Sharing our Diverse Perspectives | November 13-15, 2017 | MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland
The industry’s only exclusive meeting of Certified Meeting Professionals (CMPs), the CMP Conclave is a unique event for CMPs who wish to contribute to their profession, participate in advanced industry education and network with fellow CMPs. The event brings together a group of CMPs to work on continued development of the CMP examination. The CMPs who attend Conclave are meeting professionals who are involved in planning and managing a wide variety of meetings, conventions and exhibitions. Our supplier CMPs are sales and service professionals from hotels, convention centers, DMOs, production and technology companies, as well as other key industry partners.
The incredible diversity of our CMP community results in a vast array of experiences accumulated by our CMPs, and this leads to our 2017 CMP Conclave educational theme, which is "Perspectives." Each of us views our work through the lens of our own individual perspective. Let's look at our industry's leading issues from a variety of perspectives, and from this, perhaps we'll gain a new perspective as well.
Potential perspectives include, but are not limited to:
- Corporate Planners
- Association Planners
- Government Planners
- Hoteliers
- Convention Centers
- CVBs
- Cities
- Technology Vendors
- Legal
- Legislative
