The Events Industry Council is saddened to hear of the passing of Don Vaughn.
Don was a passionate supporter of the events industry as well as our professional community.
He served as the Chairman of the Board for the Convention Industry Council from 1985-86, a formative year for the organization that saw the introduction of both the Hall of Leaders as well as the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) programmes. Don also served on the original steering committee of the Trade Show Bureau, now known as the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR).
Don will be greatly missed. We send our sincere condolences to Don's family and friends.
