An intro to the report
COVID-19 has had an overwhelming impact on the hospitality, tourism and in-person meeting and event
industries. This revised document (titled ‘2.0’) is focused on updating the 2021 related science and data
metrics and reestablishing trust with decision-makers who approve meetings/events, organisers who
coordinate them, and meeting/event participants who will make the decision to attend.
In this document, we share evolving resources as organisations establish their own baseline on risk
evaluation and management, and we assess the timing and protocols for their upcoming in-person
meetings and events. These are not intended to be definitive standards, but rather general guidance to
customise for your organisation’s meeting or event.
