His company, THE MEETiNG DEPARTMENT, provides hotel site selection services, contract negotiation support and other planning services.

Erik Dane, CMP, CTA, is now the Alumni Events Manager at Davenport University. He was previously the Client Services Manager at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI.
