Jennifer Erney has returned to Accor as executive director, global sales, meetings & incentives and industry relations. The announcement was made by Chris Ruane, vice president, global sales, meetings & incentives.
"We are proud to share that Jennifer Erney, CMP, CMM, an industry leader, is returning to Accor as executive director, global sales, meetings & incentives and industry relations. She will oversee Washington, D.C., and Southeastern states. In her new role, Erney will be advancing group business opportunities for our collection of brands around the globe and engaging with industry organizations to keep Accor top-of-mind in the business events strategist community," stated Ruane.
Prior to returning to Accor, she was regional vice president of sales with Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) since 2017.
Previously, Erney was global director of meetings & events for 10 years with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Prior to Fairmont, Jennifer has had held progressive roles with Kimpton Hotels & Resorts and Loews Hotels.
During her sales career, she has received the PCMA 2017 Supplier of the year for being a true advocate in the meetings & events industry. In 2019, Erney was recognized as Smart Meetings Supplier of the Year in the Doer Category. Known for her consummate professionalism and strong client relationships, from increasing a client's share by 500 percent to earning her CHSE, CASE, CMP and CMM certification, she continues to grow and shine as a leader in this industry.
