You probably know that you have to submit continuing education activities for recertification. But, did you know that half of your continuing education credits can be non-industry specific if the learning objective of the session/course is related to one of the 10 domains of the CMP International Standards?
What does "non-industry specific but relating to the CMP Standards" mean? It means, for example, that if you have a general course topic entitled "Project Management 101," it can be used for continuing education. Since the course is not event/meeting specific, it will be counted towards your non-industry-specific hours as Project Management is a domain in the CMP International Standards.
