Forget what you think you know about Reno Tahoe. While it may strike some as an unusual destination, that's precisely why you should go! According to a recent article in Associations Now, Reno has rewritten their story. The old story: Reno was a tired gambling town. The new one: It's a four-season resort town with a can-do business attitude. Boasting eight resort hotels, impressive meeting facilities, a burgeoning local food movement and an art scene influenced by Native Americans and Western culture, Reno Tahoe is truly "more than you know." Register for CMP Conclave, and come see it first hand.

The CMP program relies on experienced meeting professionals like you to ensure the program reflects the current and emerging trends in the meetings industry. Our volunteers help develop and update the CMP International Standards, write and review exam questions and more. Each time we develop a volunteer panel, we want it to represent all aspects of the profession: planners, suppliers, non-profit, associations, government, corporate, independent planners and more. Sometimes our volunteers meet virtually and sometimes face to face. If you'd like to help us in these efforts, please fill out the form below and send it to cichq@conventionindustry.org. Those volunteering for the CMP program will receive re-certification credit for their participation.
