Peters, Revnew, Kappenman & Anderson, P.A®
With the January 1, 2024, implementation of the earned sick and safe time legislation and all of the other recently enacted employment-related legislation in Minnesota, it’s important to ensure your company’s policies and handbooks are in compliance with all the new laws. Veterans for Hire, Upcoming Career Fairs & Workforce Entry Program
Lots of activity in workforce this month. We started out the month at a career fair at Fort Snelling for veterans. Veterans walked through and brought copies of their resume. You can see some of these resumes on our Resume Page. We have more veteran events planned later this year. The GI Bill in conjunction with our apprenticeship program is a really good benefit for these veterans. One member’s veteran apprentice in Monticello gets a $3,600/ month rent credit through this program.

Check out our latest blog to learn about career fairs for veterans coming up soon!
