NLRB Issues Fair Choice-Employee Voice Final Rule
On July 26, the Board issued its Fair Choice–Employee Voice Final Rule, restoring three key policies that provide workers with a fair opportunity to decide whether they want union representation in the workplace and a process that respects workers’ choices: the blocking charge policy, voluntary recognition of a union, and construction industry bargaining relationships. 
June Marks Highest Yearly Increase in Building Material Prices Since February 2023
Inputs to residential construction, goods less food and energy, rose 0.19% in the month of June according to the most recent Producer Price Index (PPI) report.
NLRB withdraws 5th Circuit Appeal of JOINT EMPLOYER Final Rule Injunction
The NLRB withdrew its 5th Circuit appeal of its joint employer final rule on July 19, saying it would "like the opportunity to further consider the issues identified" in a district court's injunction while citing other, ongoing legislation relevant to its rulemaking.
