The Florida Apartment Association is proud to announce the addition of a new Membership Benefit. It is an "Award Winning," Free Online Market Survey and Free Property Website, for all Managers, Regional Managers and Owners of Apartment Portfolios anywhere in Florida.

The Florida Apartment Association (FAA) announced that we are now offering a free online market survey system and a free password-protected website for apartment communities. Even owners and management companies who manage or own multiple apartments across two or more local associations can access all their information directly through FAA.

FAA recently partnered with Orlando based MyRentComps.com to handle all of their online market surveys statewide. MyRentComps.com has already been working successfully through local associations from Tallahassee to Key West, and now you can access this amazingly simple comp survey from FAA's website as well.

It is truly easy. Once a community is set up (minimal time) a property manager can just go to their local association website and click the market survey button. Log in to update the rents/occupancies regularly – when it is most convenient to you. You can then run a free market survey on up to nine apartment properties surrounding your community. Regional managers and owners can log on to www.fl-apartments.org in "What's New" and create surveys for their entire portfolio. This valuable tool works great and is a real time saver. For instance, you can stop faxing or giving your market survey information over the phone – when your office is full of activity. No waiting for someone in the office to be able to contact all the competitors! What a project. Tell everyone who calls that you have updated your information online at the local apartment association's website, through MyRentComps.com. It's a win win for everyone! You and your comps have efficient, accurate and current information as a reference.

My favorite bonus feature...

No one can access your information unless their property has also been updated. When your comps click on the market survey button and log in, they won't be able to see your rents or occupancies if they have not updated theirs within the past seven days. Awesome!
