The National Apartment Association (NAA) Reorganizes Meetings, Sales, Communications Departments

Arlington, Va., May 30, 2012 –The National Apartment Association (NAA), America's leading advocate for quality rental housing, has promoted Jeremy Figoten as its Senior Vice President of Meetings, Communications and Sales.
In this capacity, Figoten will lead the management, staff and budgets for meetings and expositions, sales, sponsorships and advertising, communications, the NAA Community Site and the NAA website.
Figoten has worked the past 10 years in NAA’s meetings department, working his way up the management ranks, most recently as Vice President of Meetings and Sales.
With this change, Paul Bergeron, Director of Communications, will now report to Figoten. Now reporting to Bergeron will be existing NAA staff members Mary Scott, Online Resource Manager; and Julie Barden, Web Manager.
"This reformation of the NAA management staff will create a stronger message about NAA events, news and products and services to our membership," said Doug Culkin, CAE, NAA’s President and CEO. "It also takes us another step forward in making NAA’s online communication platforms the number one resource for getting our message out to membership and the industry overall."
