The FAA Leadership Lyceum course is designed to inspire and educate current and future association leaders in the areas of Legislative Advocacy, Governance, and Education/Professional Development. The 2011 course started in April and will run through October. Lyceum candidates who complete the course will graduate at the FAA Education Conference during Friday evening awards dinner. If you’re interested in enrolling in the 2012 course, contact your local association executive.
Here’s what one of the students had to say after the first module –
"After serving and being involved over the past fifteen years in three local associations across the U.S., on two state boards, and as an NAA delegate, I wish this class had been offered to me prior to serving. I think the class should be a prerequisite and a requirement for anyone and everyone prior to anyone serving on any board, albeit local, state or national. I thought it was the most informative and interactive class that I have ever had the pleasure of being involved in, and one which clearly defines the roles and responsibilities of serving as a volunteer leader."
