Norfolk, Va.-based Harbor Group International LLC (HGI) has named Carla Stoner chief financial officer. In her new capacity, Stoner will be responsible for directing the company’s financial policies and strategies. She will oversee all financial aspects of the company, including reporting, accounting, information technology, human resources and tax and treasury functions.

Prior to joining HGI, Stoner served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of CW Financial Services (CW Capital), a firm with a named special portfolio in excess of $150 billion.

Charlotte, NC-based Crescent Resources selected John Classe Jr., a real estate industry veteran with almost three decades of experience, to lead its residential projects in Florida.

Classe’s real estate development experience includes all aspects of planning, entitlements, design, permitting, government relations, project finance and community governance. He has overseen the development of a variety of large-scale, master-planned communities, retail centers and resorts. Classe’s notable community development expertise includes Celebration and Baldwin Park, both award winning mixed-use master-planned communities, located in Central Florida.
