We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2025 Higher Education Scholarships, awarded annually to outstanding individuals or children within the fence and gate industry. This year, we are proud to recognize five exceptional winners who have demonstrated academic excellence, community service, and dedication to their field.

Congratulations to our 2025 Scholarship Winners:

Each recipient will receive a $5,000 scholarship to support their higher education pursuits. These scholarships can be used for four-year colleges and universities, recognized two-year junior colleges, or vocational training schools related to the construction industry.

The AFA Government Relations Committee kicked off the year with its first meeting at FENCETECH in Salt Lake City! During the session, the team reviewed your survey responses and began shaping the 2025 policy agenda. Plus, we drew the names of our three survey winners — stay tuned for the announcement soon!

We’re also excited to introduce our 2025 Government Relations Committee Chair, Frank Speek of Amerifence in Indianapolis, Indiana. With a strong background in government relations, Frank brings a wealth of experience to the committee, and we look forward to his leadership in the year ahead.
