The American Fence Association Education Foundation (AFAEF) announced the 2018 scholarship recipients at the Awards Dinner & Annual Meeting on Thursday, March 14, in Indianapolis. The AFAEF received more than twenty submissions and awarded seven scholarships.

The American Fence Association (AFA) debuted the PRO Awards this year at the Awards Dinner & Annual Meeting at FENCETECH. The awards recognized outstanding commercial and residential projects in the following categories. The top submission was selected as Project of the Year.

CertainTeed is refreshing outdoor living spaces with its new aluminum balusters, now available for EverNew® Kingston and Oxford vinyl rail systems.
The contemporary, ¾-inch round aluminum baluster infill option stands out in a matte black, powder-coated finish and is available to accompany all six EverNew rail colors – white, almond, clay, warm spice, rustic rose and black – in 3-foot and 3.5-foot tall, flat or stair applications and either 6-foot or 8-foot lengths.
The rails are routed to accept the ¾-inch round baluster, and the bottom rails feature pre-installed foam tape to prevent rattling. The new baluster is offered in rail and baluster packs and gate kits.
