Good news… Escambia County becomes the 19th Florida school district to partner with Facilitron. How far have we come? Facilitron now partners with 6 of the top 10 largest school districts in the U.S. we partner with districts in 30 states. Our partner list includes Chicago Public Schools, San Diego Unified, Houston, Austin and San Antonio ISDs, Broward, Orange and Hillsborough County Schools, Philadelphia City Schools… many many more and more big ones to come like Dallas ISD, Duval County, New York Dept of Ed, LA County… Remember too, when we partner with these districts and add them to our client list, that doesn’t mean we did a one time sale with them. It means that every facility in their entire district, every school, every field, every auditorium and every classroom is rented through Facilitron! Everyday, everyone of those districts rents multiple facilities through Facilitron. Thank you FASBO. When we met, we had partnerships in just two states, California and Georgia. We’ve come a long way and more to come. Conference News

School business is a very complex and demanding profession requiring a special set of knowledge, skills, and abilities. It is incumbent upon us to ensure that those that follow us have the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities. To that end, the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of School Business Officials (FASBO) has embarked on the creation of a Professional Certification Program.
Recognizing the importance of attaining professionalism for school business officials, not only with regard to acquired knowledge and experience, but also in terms of the recognition and respect of peers and other professionals, FASBO’s Board of Directors established its Professional Certification Program in 2009. The Program offers both acknowledgment and recognition for professionals at all levels of school business management. Certification is a way of recognizing those individuals with the background, training, and on-the-job experience to meet recognized standards of professional competence.
