ATA In celebration of the upcoming National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDAW) Sept. 8-14, the American Trucking Association (ATA) has opened their official NTDAW online store to provide an opportunity to recognize our truck drivers. In addition, the ATA has revealed the official 2019 NTDAW logo and thank-a-driver toolkit, and announced there will be a celebration of Trucking Day at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.on Friday, Septemer 13, during the Washington Nationals vs. Atlanta Braves game.

John Murphy was one of the long-standing members of the Food Shippers of America organization both as a food manufacturer and as the Executive Director. John spent more than 40 years in the transportation industry of which the last half was at The Borden Food Company where he retired in 1995. Upon retiring from Borden, John spent 14 years as the Executive Director of Food Shippers of America.
