CPA Works with Railways to Ensure Propane Deliveries a Top Priority

The CPA has been made aware that some member companies may have experienced delays in rail shipments due to recent extreme weather conditions. As a result, the CPA has been working closely with both Canadian National (CN) and Canadian Pacific (CP) railways to communicate these concerns and ensure that propane is delivered as timely and efficiently as possible.
The Chair of the CPA Board of Directors Dan Kelly has discussed these issues with both railways and they reported that there are currently no railcars containing propane idle on CN or CP tracks. However, if you are experiencing any delays in rail shipments, you are encouraged to contact the railway operator directly: CN Rail, phone 1-866-926-7245 or Email; CP Rail, phone 1-888-333-8111 or Email.
The CPA appreciates the support of the rail industry on this issue and will continue to monitor it closely. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact James Daniels at jamesdaniels@propane.ca or 613-683-2275.
