Québec and California held a joint cap-and-trade emissions units auction on May 14

The Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MELCC) and the California Air Ressources Board (CARB) held a joint cap-and-trade emissions units auction on May 14, 2019.
The publication of the Auction Notice, which includes the number of emissions units sold, their minimum prices and their application requirements, marked the beginning of the application period. The application period closed on April 15, 2019.
