CPA welcomes new Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs and Safety

The Canadian Propane Association is pleased to welcome a new addition to the team, Robert Loenhart as the new Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs and Safety.
Robert has an Associate Degree of Science in Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University and has been a health and safety professional for more than 16 years.
He began his career with the Canadian Military in transportation as a safety and training coordinator and after retiring in 2010 from active service, Robert worked for various organizations such as Parkland Fuel Corporation (including Sparling’s propane division) as a regional health and safety advisor covering Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. His responsibilities included inspection and compliance of warehousing, bulk storage and delivery services, while also working with Emergency Response Assistance Canada as a remedial measures advisor providing emergency response. Most recently, he was the regulatory advisor for the Canadian Union of Public Employees.
Robert is very pleased to work in the propane industry once again as he joins the CPA team. He started December 16 and is based out of the Ottawa office. He can be reached at robertloenhart@propane.ca.
