On June 1, CPA staff and members met with Nova Scotia government transportation officials to advocate for the use of auto propane in government fleets and for the inclusion of propane in any future goals to reduce GHGs in the transportation sector.
Atlantic Committee Chair Royden Boudreau, Vice-Chair Lee Johnson, VP Government Relations Allan Murphy, and Jean-Francois Duguay, Director, Government Relations for Atlantic Canada, met with Daniel Leopold, Director, Fleet Management and Jeff Heyman, Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Province of Nova Scotia.
The CPA will follow up this positive discussion by providing additional technical information as well offering to arrange discussions between Nova Scotia transportation officials and other organizations that have experienced the economic and environmental advantage of using propane fleets.
