NEW – CPA advocates for propane buses during Bus Safety Week

The CPA was very active on social media during the 2021 Bus Safety Week (Oct. 18-22) to advocate for propane school bus advantages.
Cleaner air, quieter operation, and proven safety top the list of safety benefits of propane buses. Plus, all propane school buses meet Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, like conventional school buses.
There is an upward trend in schools and government switching to propane buses across the country. Most recently, Wheelchair Accessible Transit Inc., the largest wheelchair transportation service provider in Ontario and school bus company transporting students in southern Ontario, purchased 30 new propane buses and won the contract to transport students in the Muskoka region.
