UPDATE – ATL: CPA meets government officials in Atlantic Canada to advocate for the Propane Advantage

As a follow-up to initial communications with Nova Scotia's Premier Houston and several of his ministers elected in August 2021, the CPA is meeting with the new government this week to discuss the Propane Advantage.

The CPA will also be having similar discussions with senior government officials in Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador. 

In a letter sent to the newly elected officials, the CPA reinforced that propane should be part of switch-off oil rebate programs, which would significantly reduce GHG emissions for residential consumers and encourage furnace and appliance upgrades. Read the previous story here.
