Women in LPG, a webinar hosted by the World LPG Association (WLPGA) on Nov. 18, 2021, included inspiring speakers with compelling stories to tell.
Session highlights included a presentation by Regina Guarracino, chief operating officer at Anova, a leading global provider for remote management of industrial assets including propane, LNG, oil, chemicals and fuels. Guarracino stressed the importance of valuing people and their work in corporate cultures and told of her efforts to include more women on her teams and at decision-making tables.
The WLPGA’s Chief Advocacy Officer, Michael Kelly, highlighted the need for diversity and youth to address demographic challenges experienced by the sector.
The webinar culminated with the Young Woman of the Year and Woman of the Year award winners.
