CPA Supports Home Energy Retrofit Funding for All Ontarians

On February 10, the CPA issued a press release in response to the Ontario Government’s announcement for a $100 million home energy retrofit program to upgrade furnaces, water heaters and insulation. As announced, the funding is only available to customers of natural gas utilities.
This means that many Ontarians, including those in rural areas of the province who use low-emission propane, will not be able to access the rebates. The press release, which is available on the CPA website, encourages the government to offer funding to all Ontarians, not just those who use natural gas.
