CPA Senior Director, Public Affairs & Policy, Allan Murphy is currently drafting submissions to four Working Groups at Environment and Climate Change Canada. The working groups include issues around reducing emissions, clean technology, the impacts of climate change and carbon pricing.
The submissions will build on successful meetings the CPA held with the offices of Minister Jim Carr (Natural Resources) and Minister Catherine McKenna (Environment and Climate Change). The submissions will provide an important opportunity for the CPA to articulate the importance of the propane industry to the Canadian economy and how we can help governments across Canada reach their environmental targets. Submissions to Environment and Climate Change Canada are due on June 1. If you have any questions regarding the CPA’s submissions, please contact Allan Murphy at allanmurphy@propane.ca.
