CPA’s VP of Government Relations for Western Canada, Katie Kachur, will be a guest speaker at the Canadian Institute’s Arctic Energy & Resource Symposium on March 30 in Calgary, AB.
Kachur’s presentation, Exploring propane as a low carbon fuel source, will emphasize how propane can replace diesel and be used as a reliable backup energy in conjunction with renewables.
Kachur will explain how propane is produced, transported and stored, and show how propane is part of the solution for climate change by reducing air pollution and providing remote communities – which depend on diesel for power and heating – with a safe and reliable energy source.
