Advocacy News
With the federal election results now in, the CPA will continue its efforts to advance priority issues for the propane industry with the federal government. A review of minority governments in recent history would indicate that, barring some unforeseen circumstance, we should expect the life of this government to be about 24 to 36 months.

The PROPANE Advantage Video is a visual of the various applications of propane that make up the propane advantage, from cooking and home energy, to growing markets like transportation. It is also an excellent tool to use on your website and social media.

You can watch the video by clicking on the picture below or by visiting the Association's Website or Youtube channel.

The Ontario government has launched a new website that will make it easier for businesses to help make the province open for business and open for jobs by inviting them to submit their ideas on modernizing regulations and reducing red tape.

Updates to the attendees included the Transport Canada electronic shipping documents pilot program, direct-fired vaporizers, CPA national recycling initiative, and the new Manitoba red tape reduction campaign and the successes achieved by the CPA in a similar exercise in other provinces. The updates were followed by a short discussion on eligibility for Manitoba companies for the federal government Climate Action Initiative Fund that closed October 17.
