The Canadian Propane Association (CPA) held its Ontario Lobby Day on April 16 at the Ontario Legislature in Queen’s Park. On April 11, Jean-François Duguay, CPA Director of Government Relations, Atlantic and Québec, and Allan Murphy, CPA Vice President of Government Relations, along with representatives from Blue Bird Buses and Roush Clean Tech attended the Atlantic School Buses Committee meeting to discuss the benefits of propane-fuelled school buses, an ideal low-cost, low-emission solution for school boards.

Propane consumers winners in the province of Prince Edward Island's new budget presented on April 6, 2018. The provincial portion of HST will be rebated on firewood, pellets and propane through a point of sale credit or rebate. The CPA will share additional information on this measure as it becomes available.
