On October 26, 2021, Prime Minister Trudeau appointed his new cabinet. Nine new ministers are entering cabinet and 21 returning ministers have been assigned new portfolios. The new ministers are predominantly from Atlantic Canada, the Greater Toronto Area, and Quebec. There is one MP from Alberta in cabinet as well.
