Stationary Tanks Permanently Mounted on Trailers – Update

The CPA conducted a compliance poll related to the issue of stationary tanks permanently mounted on trailers.

The CPA met with Transport Canada on this issue and they remain open to providing a transition period to companies who would experience undue hardship if immediate compliance was imposed.  After consideration, Transport Canada determined that temporary certificates would be granted on a case by case basis and that each company in need of a transition period should submit an application to Transport Canada.
