Cannabis Legalization and the Workplace

With the impending legalization of cannabis, employers need to be aware of the inevitable increase in the number of workers consuming cannabis on a regular basis – recreationally and for medicinal purposes – and the impact it will have on workplace safety and productivity.

The Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC) is hosting a free, two-part webinar that will provide an overview of current and anticipated cannabis consumption in Canada. These two webinars will take place on:

Getting prepared – policies and practices that employers need to consider and/or re-examine as they prepare for marijuana legalization in 2018.
