Transport Canada Issues Security Advisory

Transport Canada has issued a Security Awareness Advisory to stakeholders.

This Advisory is not in response to a specific threat to Canada. The purpose of this Advisory is to encourage an increased sense of security awareness in the surface modes of transportation. Transport Canada advocates all surface transportation stakeholders to exercise increased vigilance and report all suspicious incidents and/or suspicious activities in a timely manner.

Please advise your staff and tenants to be aware of suspicious behaviours and activities, and to report them as soon as possible. All security incidents should be reported to TC at: 1-866-TCSECUR (1-866-827-3287).
