The Nova Scotia Chief Fuel Safety Inspector released Fuel Safety Bulletin FS18-02: Regency Ultimate U39 Direct Vent Gas Stove. This Product Advisory pertains to the Regency Ultimate U39 Direct Vent Gas Stove line of fireplaces, which includes model numbers U39-NG10, U39-NG1 and U39-LP1 manufactured between January 1, 2011 and January 18, 2018 with serial numbers 315004536 to 315012548.

The manufacturer is advising anyone who has this type of stove to immediately discontinue using the stove and shut off the gas supply to the unit.
