CPA is Looking for Your Feedback – Reliable Propane

For a number of years, the CPA Board of Directors has been discussing the adoption of a code of practice with the objective of improving risk management performance and elevating public perception about the safety and responsibility of the propane industry.

During its November 2017 meeting, the Board approved, in principle, a draft Reliable Propane commitment statement. This would become an annual commitment by members upon membership renewal. The draft statement can be viewed on The Grid.

The CPA has begun discussing the commitment statement with CPA committees and will continue these discussions, including at upcoming seminars, until the fall.  

The CPA plans to have the final version approved by the Board in the fall, for implementation in 2019.
